A Note from the Health Coach

I am assuming you are here because Diabetes has touched your life in some way. Or, you are looking to change and improve your health or the health of someone you care about. I want to your visit to be worthwhile.

I spend part of each day educating individuals about the preventative steps to take to reduce their risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes. I find myself implementing more protocols to fight the disease than preventative measures. That is going backwards. The lessons are not being implemented. This has to change. Here is what my knowledge and experience has taught me. Type 2 Diabetes is an insidious preventable disease, but most people do not pay attention to their health until disease manifest. They go long each day not believing it will impact them until there is a crisis situation. The old adage should apply “to prevent is better than to cure.”

I am concerned about the increasing cases and scientific trajectory for Type 2 Diabetes plus the growing increase in Alzheimer and Dementia. I continue to do my part and the results from individuals who implement is encouraging. So, for those individuals currently struggling with this disease ask you doctors to place you on a lifestyle change program.

Type 2 Diabetes is a dietary disease and needs dietary solution. Taking drugs to lower blood sugar is treating the symptoms not the disease itself.
